Are you a sophisticated gentleman that gets invited to all the best jabber parties and need an right forge accessory? Well, assign on your monocle and look for no further, because you'Ra abstract result would be the LED Top Hat.

The colorful high hat by YouTube user "Safarir" features 400 LEDs that light in the lead in unison and let the hat display bright animations and patterns. Safarir involved the LEDs to a simple opera hat with Adafruit's RGB LED Flexi Strips, and made IT so you can code each LED individually–exactly what you need to make up the specific designs that plasterer's float around this chapeau.

After some coding, Safarir had the hat performing fluid transformations such as pixel Black Maria, color throbs, stripes, spots, and even words. Unhappily, Safarir doesn't get into a lot particular on the creation process, or mention whether the patterns change with the music, but we do know that Safrir wrote some custom software–dubbed HatEditor–to determine colors and patterns.

Safarir uploaded plenty of keen videos to demonstrate a modern meet a classy hat for your amusement. You won't find Safrir's creation in stores anytime soon, so for now, you'll simply have to admire Safarir's work.
